We become aware of a child’s abilities when the child articulates thoughts, ideas, and opinions. Our immersive training sessions are built on the core idea that children need to develop their viewpoints and share their perspectives without fear of getting judged by others.
We help children develop the self-confidence to think clearly and present their thoughts persuasively, without any inhibition. Children who are confident of their capabilities know how to stand up for themselves and others with sensitivity. They can say ‘no’ when it is required, communicate with clarity, and forge and maintain healthy relationships that meet their own and others’ needs.

Our training program helps students understand the science behind debate-led communication. They learn how to think clearly, construct an argument, and articulate it well. They learn to master the art of conversation.
Mentors from the University of Oxford, University of Cambridge, and Ivy League Universities – who have engaged with students worldwide – will teach young learners the fundamentals of debating.
Students engage in an immersive 12-week learning experience – inspired by Oxford Style Debating and guided by mentors from around the world – to master the art and science of debating.
The program has been developed by Debate Mate, an innovative global business based in London that provides leadership and communication training across a wide variety of industry sectors.
Over the last nine years, Debate Mate has successfully taught over 25,000 young people to debate in the UK, USA, Jamaica, Nepal, Dubai, Doha, Mexico, Rwanda, Kenya, Ghana, Nigeria, China, Japan, Korea and Israel.
