The world opens up to us when we know how to get our point across and speak with impact to influence people. We present a first-of-its-kind initiative, with Scholars in Communication curriculum delivered by Harvard Student Agencies (HSA). We foster young minds to learn design, deliver and engage with powerful ideas, and influence public by speaking eloquently.
The program will start by introducing the fundamentals of Scholars in Communication to students. They will be familiarized with presenting in a second language and speaking with confidence into a camera.
Students will analyze the anatomy of an effective speech and presentation. They will work on developing their independent construct of a powerful speech.
Students will understand the nuances of impactful delivery, both informal and formal. They will prepare and practice the art of delivering a TEDx style talk.
The program will culminate into final presentation where students will speak their idea with confidence, draw insights from peers, give and accept critical feedback, in the presence of Harvard influencers and YouTubers.
