Our Developing Debate Skills programme is for students who have already completed our Introduction to Debating course. Designed to build, improve and refine the skills they have already acquired, this advanced course will continue to focus on: communication skills, critical and creative thinking, strategic teamwork and leadership, as well as building core confidence, empathy and resilience. Students will discuss a range of engaging issues and current affairs building not only their skills but their wider understanding of the world around them.
In this high energy session, students will meet the other students in their club and drive straight into mastering their arguments. Content overview

Debating takes place in the real world, so this session will focus on how to analyse a point by looking at how a motion affects different groups. This session will also look at how to approach arguments through a range of different themes.

Level 2 Developing Debate Skills Programme is open for students who have completed the Level 1- Introduction to Debating course. Admission to the program is by selection only, given the limited space. The workshop is open to students from grades 3rd - 9th.
Students are encouraged to apply as early as possible. Applications are processed on a rolling basis and will be assessed as they get submitted. An application will not be reviewed until all application materials are received by us.

Once your child is selected for the 10-week (one 90-minute session per week) virtual debating program, we will take your child’s age and experience level into account.
Participants belonging to the same age group and with similar experiences will join groups consisting of up to 10 students. The same mentor will deliver the virtual program every week as per the dates and timings worked out in advance.
Our virtual debating sessions are built around an acclaimed and evidence-based methodology. Program content is designed to suit all ages and experience levels. Students will be provided resources to use between each lesson and are encouraged to take ownership of their learning.
Participate in virtual debates for 12 weeks and enhance communication, leadership, collaboration, and critical and creative thinking skills developed in Level 1. At the end of the program, every student will receive a personalized report and certificate.
